Question: My tonsils are swollen. It doesn't hurt and there are no white spots. I've been tested for strep and its negative. My right one is so swollen that its touching the lil dangly thing lol..what is it?

it could be irritaed without being infected. Lots of people have their tonsils removed just so that it causes them no problems....like this.

Wow! I'm not a doctor, but could it be tonsillitis?

It could be tonsilitis or something else. What have you been eating? Say for example some type of shell fish. You could be having an allergic reaction. You need to see a doctor just to make sure. Think about what you had to eat for the past 24 hrs. Then write it down so the doctor can review it. If he feels it's an allergic reaction then he will send you to another doctor to be tested.
