Why do people have nut allergies?!


Question: are they also allergic to seeds also, and legumes, because not all nuts as we classify them are not peanuts..some are seeds, and some are legumes.

Because these people have immune systems that are hyper-sensitive to some chemical found in nuts. They are born this way - they didn't do or eat anything that caused it. The body therefore regards these chemicals as poison and reacts to it as if it really were poisonous.

This is basically the same reason people are allergic to pollen, cat dander, dust mites, or a host of other things. You can treat the problem, but you cannot cure it.

People who are allergic to peanuts are allergic to the for the same reason why people who are allergic to cats are allregic to cats but not dogs.

IT'S AN ALLERGY THERE IS NO REASON THEY ARE JUST ALLERGIC TO A SPECIFIC THING!

I'm allergic to pistachios, almonds, cashews and every other nut except peanuts, because they're actually beans. But if you've taken biology in high school, then you'd know that people have nut allergies because their bodies think the nuts are bad and thier cells attack them.

Nuts and seeds are very hard to digest and should not be consumed in large amounts. The rule of thumb is that two ounces of nuts per day is enough and any more might give you stomach and digestion problems.
