Is is possible to meditate when your diagnosed with A.D.D?!


Question: I am very intrested in learning how to meditate. I have a very hard time focusing on one thing at a time. How realistic is it for someone to meditate to clear their mind when they struggle with A.D.D

It would take a lot of practice, but I think it would be great for you. Meditating begins by letting all your thoughts be in your mind & then becoming aware of them. Then working on slowly clearing them from your mind & also focusing on your breathing.

meditation is a habit, and like any habit takes persistence and determination, but even those with ADD can learn to do it.

Somewhere I've read that meditation is good for ADD as it helps one learn to concentrate. You could do a search for "meditation and ADD" or "ADD and meditation".
