Can ear plugs cause an ear infection?!
Question: I just started a factory job that requires me to wear ear plugs, my left ear has just started to hurt and it's really bad whenever I swallow.

if i were you i would rather buy a noise preventing head set
like...one of those for gun ranges
or for drummers...whatever you can get.
they help alot, and less chance of infection than plugs
I think you need to change your ear plugs everyday and try to remove it to get some fresh air whenever you can. Go to see doctor if it getting worse. Hope you have a happy day.
yes, who knows what they use to make those headphones. but i think you're just getting normally sick and your ears hurt because its irritated from you sticking something in it like every 5 seconds
Um mm since u work in a factory i don't think that the ear plugs would cause the ear infection but... maybe its just a cold that hit you or something i never heard anything like that go get some antibiotics they help
