Small scratches/chafes on the feet leaving permanent marks?!

Question: Could that indicate poor circulation of blood to the feet?

My right foot was chafed on the side back in October and healed quite slowly, leaving a dark purplish mark. Aesthetics aside, is that something to worry about?

I get this a lot. But I dont beleive its because of circulation. Do you have diabetes by any chance. this can make this happen. It worth seeing the doctor about it if it doesent heal and he should be able to give you or recommend a lotion/cream that will help.
