Actually benedryl is reccomended for kids of all ages, u should give the kid benedryl it will definately benefit the child.

Exactly what type of allergies? Is it seasonal allergies? My sister uses Zyrtec in the lowest dose for her kids. Sometimes benadryl. I was under the impression that epinephrine was for allergic reaction, sort of like when kids have a food allergy and they eat something that they are not supposed to. But most importantly, ask the pediatrician, or make an appointment with an allergist.
