Migraines??!

Question: what are some natural ways to help relieve a migraine? I have already seen many doctors and i would like to know of a natural alternative that has worked for others.. meds soo far haven't worked for me. nor does advil and other type of over teh counter drugs

I'm also curious to know if anyone has the same or similar migraines to me...I get where my eyes hurt..it usually happens when teh sun is going down and the light is slowly changing..I get squinty and my head across my forehead hurts, sometimes my left temple area gets a tense pain as well.

I've seen an eye doctor a neurologist, my regular doctor and an allergie doctor b/c they thought and allergies as well.

Hi. YES I know what kinda of migraines you are describing. I had "cluster" migraines in 2005 which were awful. I essentially had a migraine for 4 mts. It was sooooo bad that most of the time I had to lay down in a dark room. I too saw neurologists, allergists, eye doctors, etc. The eye doctor did a test to see if my eyes were bulging since that could indicate a more severe condition. They once thought that I had a pseudotumor. You may want to read up on that since that sometimes explains "unexplainable" migraines. Also they may run an MRI or MRV on your brain (doesn't hurt it's a Magnetic Resolution Image)....

What helped me the most (since meds did) was remaining quiet, meditating and also ice.. lots of ice!!! Ice Packs on my head usually helps a lot.

Magnesium helps in some cases and you can find further information in a search for migraines + magnesium.
