Why do I have white hair?!

Sounds like a genetic thing. Anyone else in your family have premature whitening of the hair? Not much you can do about it except maybe dye it. Is it truly white? Or is it so blond it looks white? Hair turns white when the pigment gland at the root stops functioning and producing color. Usually happens as people get older, but it's not completely unheard of for people to experience it younger. I have a friend that has a gray streak in the front of her hair and it's been there since she was 15.
Inherited genes, do your parents/grandparents have that?
Did something scare the crap out of you?
The patches are called "blazes". It's hereditary.
It runs in some families. But it's rather odd for this to happen a 14 year old.

sometimes it's inherited, sometimes it's because of stress... it's not too common, but i've seen a lot of 15 and 16 year olds that have that... so no, you're not weird....
maybe some traumatic experience? have you always had them? i had a friend that had a white streak in his eyebrow and he was only 18 at the time. no big deal. adds character. some girls find it hot.

you need to get that checked cause you don't want it to be health concern. I know a few young people who get white hair but they're not as young as you.

Probably a genetic trait. I know of a man that has a shock of stark white hair in the front the top of his head. It is about the size of a computer mouse, maybe a little smaller. Every thing else is a medium brown. And both of his children, boy and girl, have the same thing in the same place.
