Has any one ever got liver problems from the medication tricor?!

This can certainly be caused by the medication. Tricor can sometimes be toxic to the liver (hepatotoxicity). Though quite rare, it is a serious side effect of Tricor (generic name fenofibrate). However, she will probably recover and be just fine. What is most likely happening is what's called acute hepatitis (or inflammation of the liver). The liver is an incredibly resilient organ. Most of the time it can undergo a serious insult and completely recover. I hope that it was diagnosed early and that she does well and recovers quickly.
Yes. You are suppose to have periodic blood work done to check your liver enzymes.
tricor is to treat high cholesterol, so her liver problems could be from that or the meds...or something completely different. my husband has been on it for 5 years, along with about 8 others and he is fine. But, everyone is different. what did the doctor say?
