two things;
1. either the class is boring;
2. insufficient sleep

impact:
1. class is boring but you can't do anything about it. unless you can change time. exchange it perhaps for sports or something that actively does something like shop etc.

2. also maybe you're sleeping less. sleep must be categorized as deep sleep - because you can sleep for like the whole 8 hours but still feel weak. your body needs deep and uninterrupted sleep.

maybe have yourself checked by a physician. or maybe you're also stressed and have tons of things to think about.

maybe u think it is boring

Why don't you go to the doctor?? I think you have a problem hidden behind your sleeping problems...

1. get more sleep!
2. eat atomic fireball jawbreaker candies in class! they will keep you awake!

trying drinking warm milk then go to sleep

I was thinking there wasn't a problem until you said you slept for 19 hours!!!! I would say it's either a form of chronic fatigue or depression. In any case, you should see your GP ASAP to rule out an organic health problem.

Yes, you may have some sleep disorder. You are young so it may be unlikely but see a doctor. If you do have a sleeping disorder, once you have it treated you will be amazed at how much energy you have. GOOD LUCK.

I think you may have a problem, if you sleep from 5 to 11:45 randomly, I would see a doctor, Hopefully its nothing but maybe your naturally growing up, heres hoping !!!!

I don't think you need to go to the doctor, here is what I think.

1. you probably choose to sleep very late at night and then wake up too early in the morning.

2. If your not active, be active! Eat something healthy and keep a positive attitude!

I'm sure that if you get into the routine of sleeping early (of at a time that you know you won't be tired in the morning and fall asleep again) and waking up at the right time, you will start to feel better and you might just be able to stay awake in class! :)

no this is normal for your age go to bed at 9 it takes a while
to relax and fall a sleep, eat a good breakfast in the morning
proten like eggs or penut butter on toast and milk and juce
don't eat a large lunch and watch the carbs, like suggar or
fats like frinch fries and chips they make you sleepy get excrcise to get your blood pumping up to your brain

basiclly you think it's boring and
i'm like that i sleep alot it's normal for some people just like it normal for some people not to sleep. When i was 12 all i did was sleep especially in math class.no you don't need to see the doctor. just probably your body is tired and wants more sleep hope that helps

no..u probably just need more sleep and it probabyl dont help that that class is boring!! dont drink caffeine to stay up cuz u will run out of energy at the end of the day...just go to bed earlier..

What You Could Try , But A Stereotypical Girl Will Not, Is To Increase Your Carbohydrate Intake; Pastas, Potatoes, Bread, Ect.
In Theory They Give You Engergy.

If Not: Red Bull Gives You Wings.

You might be experiencing a stage of narcolepsy which is worth getting attention. Discuss with school nurse if you can or talk to your family doctor.

Your regularly scheduled class-time naps probably mean that you're not getting enough Zzzzs in general. People don't usually feel sleepy when they're active, talking and participating in the classroom. Boredom also can bring out evidence of a sleep deficit. You mentioned you sleep eight hours a night. People in their teens need as many as nine or ten to be completely rested and alert. The amount of sleep you need is genetically determined but you can experiment to find out how many hours your body prefers or needs. Sleep without an alarm clock and distraction-free for a few days so that you can notice when you normally wake up on your own. Also:
* Avoid eating right before you go to sleep
* Keep a regular bedtime schedule, even on weekends
* Avoid exposing yourself to bright lights right before going to bed
If you are operating on a sleep deficit help to stay alert:
* Eat a substantial breakfast.
* Avoid eating candy and other high-sugar foods.
* Vary your activities.
* Stay physically and/or mentally active.
Watch the blackboard, projector, screen, and the teacher to help you pay better attention and be more engaged in the material being taught. Check out the All Kinds of Minds web site for more information on different styles of learning.

While chances are small, it's possible that your fatigue could be due to Excessive Daytime Sleepiness (EDS), a condition that causes people to fall asleep even if they regularly get adequate rest. EDS doesn't happen on its own but it's a sign of some other condition, usually a sleeping disorder. If you feel as though you're getting plenty of rest and still regularly doze off during the day, a discussion with your health care provider might be a good idea.
