Could i get SSI at 18?!
Question: I have aspergers. I left school because i had no friends and getting harrased by people because i was always quiet. I also have a geneitc disorder call Alpha1 antitrypsin definecy which will give lung and liver problems at age 30 or so. I dont have a GED or dipolma

I have Asperger's too and I've been on SSI since I was 18. I'm almost 22 now. If you are unable to work or attend school because of your disability you might be eligible. Talk to your doctor or visit or call your local social security office. You can also visit the social security administration's website for more details.

Ask your physician what your chances of getting SSI are, if your disorder is considered debilitating or not as far as social security is concerned.
