My fingers tingle alot...?!

Question: Just my pointer, middle, and ring fingers. When I looked it up online I kept getting carpal tunnel symptoms. Could there be anything else? I also have really bad pain in that wrist that seems to come and go. Any ideas? Or anyone who has or had the same problems?

The symptoms you descirbe are likely to be carpal tunnel syndrome. Its caused by the entrapment of the median nerve, causing tingling in the palmar side of the hand. It can also be associated with pain and loss of uscle function if advanced enough.

At the bottom is a link that summarizes the casue, symptoms and treatment options. It is a very common syndrome that affects anybody who does a repetitive type work (clerical, typist, factory assembly etc). The key is to improve the ergonomics of the worka area, and if needed intervene witha proper brace early. Late cases will need surgery to release the presure on the median nerve as it enters the wrist.

I have these same symptoms. I am glad to see I'm not the only one. My mom suggested carpal tunnel as well. I wouldn't doubt it...I'm at a computer all day.

My hand went numb too

Take a B COMPLEX~

yes I agree with the cts. I have that also, and mine has been diagnosed...some days my thumb is so numb it takes a couple of hours for it to get back in the groove....and yes my wrist also had pain...but you should go to the drs. and have it checked out...

it's carpal ...write the abc's in the air using your pointer finger and that should help loosen up your wrists...it's an exercise the ups driver told me about when I was having some hand problems...it did help...
