Throat burns?!


Question: couple minutes ago i burped and it burned. Then I started coughing really bad.
I drank some water, everything was good.
Now the back of my throat burns!
Im sucking on a cough drop, but it doesn't seem to be working.
What should i do?
& What happened?

A girl that burps.. o m g. Lol jk. yeah like others said, probably stomache acid comin up , or somethin. Like throwup in ur mouth.. naaasty. :D Btw thanks for answering my question, i thought i would try and answer yours :)
Yep, sounds like acid reflux. If this occurs again and you get chest pains, stomach pains, hiccups or burning stomach, contact a doctor. What did you eat before you burped? A food in that meal may be affecting your stomach. Anyway, good luck and good health. Report It

    • Acid reflux. Not a big deal if it's an isolated incident.
    Acid eflux from your stomach don`t panic drink water and it will settle .good luck.
    Water probably makes it worse, things like soda (or something with gas, like one of those sparkling water would help). A little baking soda mixed in would help too. Or just some Pepto Bismol
