Tubal vs a Vasectomy?!
Question: Why is it easy for man (at any age) to get snipped but a woman has to wait until she is 30 or has two kids!?
Example: my brother in law was only 23 when he got snipped and there were no "questions asked"

I don't know my husband's friend wanted to get snipped at 18 and they made him wait until he was 2 AND under psychologic screening before they would get him snipped.
However I suppose it might be because technically vasectomies are "reversable" and tubals "aren't"
I think women change their mind more often. Yes, I guess it is sexist, in a way.
VASECTOMY IS EASIER
Yes it is a little sexist.
True, it is pretty easy for a man to get one, no matter what age, or if he has children or not. I had my vasectomy at age 21, with no children, no questions where asked. My buddy also had no children when he had his vasectomy at age 25. I recently called a urologist for my friend, and they said he only need be 18.
I know women can get them younger because my girlfriend had one done when she was 25. She never had children.
I think it has to do with liability. I have never known a man to sue the doctor claiming, "You didn't say it was permanent". It is pretty obvious that the man knew what he was doing when he signed up for a vasectomy.
For reasons I don't understand women often say things like, "When I had my second baby, the nurse tricked me into signing a form that said to give me a tubal ligation". I have known several woman that made this claim.
There also might be some connection with the fact that back in the 60's women who where retarded, or considered criminals where involuntarily sterilized.
BTW: A vasectomy is not any more revisable than a tubal ligation. Don't believe anyone that tells you different.
