For vomiting & diarrhea: Stop eating or drinking anything for 2 hours. Then slowly add Gatorade, sip room temp. Ginger ale (stir with fork to get rid of bubbles; suck on ice chips. If you can't keep it down, stop again suck on ice chips. The n start again
If you keep it down try weak tea, plain toast, jello, applesauce, chicken soup, rice, noodles, mashed or baked potatoes (no butter).
Keep drinking fluids.

If you remain sick:
Astragalus; echineacea; & goldenseal root (but not more than 5 days in a row).
Vit.A 10,000IUs, Cit C 2000mg every 2 hours; Vit D3 1000IUs; Vit E 400IUs 2X/day; Selenium 200 mcg; Zinc 50 mg. Suck on Zinc lozenges.

Feel better soon.

You sure you just didn't eat something bad from the night before? Sometimes I eat something bad from a restaurant and the same thing happens to me. It hurts, but I usually just tuff it out and get some rest, Then it eventually goes away.

Try and drink as much as you can. Some of the pain you are feeling could be spasms from the vomiting. Cover up, stay warm and rest. Give yourself till tomorrow. If it's the 24 hour bug, you should be feeling a little better by tomorrow. If you don't feel better, see your doc. You don't want to risk dehydration.

Give it some time.
