Reasons to stop doing drugs?!
Question: I've been given a strange essay/assignment topic in my italian class: to write a 200 word letter convincing a friend to not do/stop doing drugs. So far i've listed by doing cocaine that he's killing his body, that cancer or brain damage can develop as a result, to consider his family's feelings and the fact that relying on an unnatural and self-destructive addiction is ultimately weak...
But it's only taken up 130 words and I don't know what other reasons I could list and i've already crapped on a bit lol...
If anybody can help me it'd be greatly appreciated!!

the effect it has on others...drugs change your mind "psychologically" so you can put down that it is tearing his family apart,and tearing his interactions with other people apart
I have just gone through 4 days of Hell with pain killer withdrawls.

Look up each drug you can think of and what it does to your body it wont be a very pretty picture.
Why people do this is beyond my comprehension as normal medication is bad enough,as much as I hate saying it look at what happened to Elvis and now Heath Ledger what a terrible waste of life.
The Doctors who dish out this stuff should be held accountable.
I was given Oxycontin for pain I looked it up then thought no way am I taking that I now call it oxymoron as that's what people are that use it to inhale.
