I think I'm gonna get a sty on my eye?!
Question: I can feel it starting to develop on my lower eye lid on my left eye, right next to the corner, the exact place I had one last time.
It's starting to bump out a little, so I want to stop it before it gets big, because last time I had to have it popped by the doctor. (!) You have no idea lol.
So I've been having a look at all of these previous questions about stys and have read all the answers but everybody came up with different remedies.
They were:
1. Potatoe juice
2. A tea bag
3. Inside (white bit) shell of a boiled egg (lol!!?)
4. Warm water on a flannel
5. Warm salty water
Can anybody tell me which one I should use and is the most effective?

the tea bag works, but i like to use a warm compress on them
Rub it with a clean gold wedding ring if you dont have one borrow one always works for me.
Personally I just soak a dishrag in hot water or microwave a wet rag for a few minutes and let that sit on the stye for a while. That softens the skin and relieves some of the pressue.
Actually I used to get them alot, and my mom always told me to take a gold ring and heat it up. (Like rubbing it on your jeans really fast) then put it on the spot where you are getting a sty. I know it sounds weird but try it.... it worked for me.
If it's a full blown stye, ye will jist huv tae live wi' it!!! They urr gettin' offy rare these days....
the only reason why i got a sty was cuz of the eye liner i was usin so i kept my eye clean and didnt wear my eyeliner and it cleared up in a couple of days!! idont no if thts any help lol
