You either have a small scrape in your throat or esophagus even though the paper went down, or it's somewhat stuck there still. The only thing that might get it to go fully down into your stomach (and you will pass it), is perhaps a piece of thick bread or pizza or something bready.
Otherwise if that doesn't work, your may have scraped your throat just like a scrape on a knee and it will heal.

drink some water maybe. It'll go down I've done the same thing it just takes time to move downward if ya know what I mean. It'll all come out in the end babe

You are probably just worried about it and irritating your throat by continuing to swallow. It will come out (digested if paper, or mixed in if it is aluminum) in 8-24 hours. Dont worry about it. If you really want to be sure that it is out of your throat try eating something else.
It is just like eating fiber- it just passes through.
get a piece of bread, roll it into a ball and chew and swallow it _ it will help it go down, then drink a cup of milk afterwards it will soothe ur throat

haha dont worry, you will be fine...a guy at my school was dared to eat a dollar...he did it then threw the dollar back up..im pretty sure a cupcake wrapper is safer...
but remember, it could all just be in you head, i know this sounds crazy, but i still get a feeling in my throat every time i see a sweet tart just because i choked on one when i was little...so stop thinking about it...your fine
