I just got lice again, for the third time.?!

Question: I can't tell my parents or they will kill me. They think I am still sharing people's brushes and everything but I'm not!

I need ways to treat it on my own!

here are some quick ways that you can do
good luck

To prevent lice from reoccuring, your hair needs to be treated with lice shampoo. RIDS lice shampoo or similar that has an ingredient that keeps working for up to a month. You will need to have all the lice combed/picked out including netz. You need to wash everything, bedding, clothes, brushes, ponytails, etc. Pillows or things that cannot be washed need to be bagged up in dark garbage bags for 2 weeks to kill off any lice hiding in the pillows themselves or throw them away. Ponytails or hairbrushes people often forget to treat and then bed and pillows are often forgotten. Get a water proof bed pad for your matress just in case any lice has passed to your matress. Your parents may have overlooked some of these things causing you to be reinfected.

shave your head and tell them ur tryin sumthin new

You really should tell your parents you should get shampoo to treat it. You need to bag up all of your stuffed animals in trash bags and put them somewhere like a basement or garage for at least 2 weeks and make sure to wash all you bed linens and use the treatment spray on your mattress and furniture. My sister use to get it all the time we finally had to tear the carpet out of her room because lice can live in things like that. Hope this helps you.. Good Luck!

You really can't; the whole household has to be cleaned, particularly your bed linens. Just tell them; they'll be annoyed but they'll get over it. It'll be much worse if you try to delouse yourself, fail, and everyone in the house ends up infested. Then they'll really be annoyed.

All you can do is get a nit comb and smother your hair in conditioner and comb it and comb it until they stop coming out. Do this 2 or 3 times a week until they are completely gone.

Edit

Lice actually die very quickly when they are not on the head so you do not need to get rid of the carpet or anything stupid! Just change your pillow case daily to be on the safe side.

Either you are not getting rid of the lice initially, i.e. they are living on your pillow, or you have a friend that is giving it to you when they are around. You can use all the shampoo you want, but if you don't find the source they will continue to reoccur. Consider all options. Don't automatically assume that it's the friend with the less than perfect hygiene. It could be the clean freak friend. You also need to wash everything in your room in HOT water. If you have a sanitize feature on your washer, now is the time to use it. If you can't wash some things, seal them in a trash bag and put them out in the garage for a few weeks. Lice can't live froever without a host.

ok well i used to get lice ALL the time becuz of our neighbors.Well use RIDS OR NIX!You can use mayonaise in your hair and then put a shower cap over it.In order to prevent it,well you could use alot of hairspray.Like put your hair in a ponytail and hairspray it ALOT!Yes it will make your hair greasy but then just come home and take a showere with lice shampoo, nix or rids,or you can use hot oil treatments. And to prevent the eggs from hatching,go in the shower and cover your hair with conditioner and comb through ur hair,in the shower, with a thin toothed comb. Most of the eggs come out.and then rinse and wash your hair with either regular shampoo, nix, and rids.
HOPE I COULD HELP!:)
btw...these methods work.
I dont get lice anymore!

i agree with everything spongebob said. But, you need to make sure you continue to wash your bedding at least twice a week, make sure you don't wear any clothes that weren't washed in hot water, vacuum your carpets, furniture and mattresses after you spray the lice treatment sprays on them. You really need someone to help you with the lice treatment shampoo because lice can lay tiny eggs that are very hard to get to.
