I fainted for the first time ever in Valentines Day?!

Question: So here's my story. The day before Valentine's Day I had a fever and went home during 3rd Block. By the way, I'm 14. The next day, during Valentine's Day, during first block which was Art Class, I wanted to pose in front of everyone so I could be drawn. So there I was standing like Superman on this really tall table... like up to my upper ribs tall. While standing there and listening to everyone's conversation, I started seeing like these green spots and my legs started shake and I asked inaudibly if I could stop posing. I didn't just want to sit because everyone would be like... "Why did you move?" ...because you know... I was being sketched. I was standing and totally become unconcious and fall back. Last thing I heard was "OMG!!!" and I remember hitting my lower back... that is leveled to my hip... and I think I woke up kind of and I don't know what happened. last thing I new I was in a position that was really weird. I mean, my elbow was like supporting my and was holding up my...

Could be a couple things. Could have been an effect from the fever, remember even though the illness is over it still takes time to get back to 100%. Only other thing I could think of is vertigo, have you had other experiences of nervousness with heights?

The reason you weren't hurt was because your body was relaxed. Studies have found that victims of trauma such as car accidents are less likely to be damaged if their body is relaxed and limp than if they tense up.

ok

When you stand for long periods of time with your knees locked you can pass out. That is probably what happened.

wow maybe cause it was from your fever

im sure it makes sense to you :)

wow, crazy experience. Maybe talk to your parents or a doctor. I'm 17 and i had a friend who fainted/blacked out once. But...he was in wood shop. Yep, needless to say, he spaced or something and got his finger tips chopped off. The doctors were able to reattach all his digits and found out the problem was malnutriention and lack of sleep. He eats and sleeps like a pig now (exaggerating). HAHA.
