Question: Does that mean, that, if you die from a heart attack, some nerves can still be active, and you would feel/think/hear even after you are dead ? Perhaps it would be like...trapped without beeing able to move ?

Come on guys, I thought most knew this. Hadn't you hear before that brain damage starts within 6 minutes of the brain not receiving oxygen. Well, once the heart stops supplying oxygen rich blood it begins to die. So it would be very possible for the brain to last to 12 mins before completely dying. But you feel nothing.

I'm not sure. My mom just recently died and her brain actually was dead FIRST before her body, and the doctors said that was unusual. Usually the body is supported by machines but there still is brain activity.
