I saved a life today?!
Question: not just any life,my mothers.she was eating steak and was choking on a lump of it.i put my panics to one side as she was very distressed and turning blue.this is going to sound crazy but i didnt do the technique your suspossed to do,i took some bread and made her swallow a small piece followed by water it pushed the steak down,i was terrified she was going to die im so thankfull to god for helping me to help her.my question is has anybody every saved a life or even exprienced something like i have?i really didnt think i could hold it together but i did.how about you?

I used to be a nurse Angel so saved a few lives and you do not think at time adrenalin pumps in it is after the shock comes and hits you.

My father did the Heimlich Maneuver on me when I was 12 and choking on a piece of ham.(He had just learned how to do it at work 2 days earlier!)
that very good I saved someone wons two i was changing for a fashion show and a girl fell over in a basque that was two tight wivin seconds i had picked her up and she was breathing again oh it was so dramtic i can tell you i fellt giddy for ages afterwoods.
but it was nothing to do wiv god i did on my own
I'm glad that she's alright, but I wouldn't recommend this to others in case they find themselves in a similar predicament.
A couple of days ago I was walking to the shop which is about half a hour away (I mean, these days NO ONE can EVEN walk for 30 minutes) & this 84 year old woman stopped me. She had-had 2 falls in her home so i rung for a ambulance.
well done for saving your mum, and yes i have, i saved a baby in the middle of a shopping centre from chocking on a penny the mother gave to her.
Well done you and no I've never saved anybodies life, I afraid I'm not as brave as you I'd panic as I'm no good in situations like that, hope you mum is fine now.
