Here are some note from an essay i wrote on sleep

- We spend a third of our lives sleeping

-To maintain a health body required for essential wellbeing, sleep is just as important as food & water

-Studies conducted in the past have suggested that good sleeping habits are vital for good studying habits to form. When deprived of sleep the brain will have trouble with developing cognitive skills. These negative effects on the brain make it harder for an individual to encode, retain & retrieve information though out the day.

-Lack of sleep can contribute to poor concentration & a reduced attention span.

-When deprived of sleep the body is unable to rebuild & restore muscle tissue. Sleep deprivation can cause muscle pains resulting in lack of physical energy.

-You need 10 hours each night (approx.)
-Adults need 8 (approx.)

Start a routine... Eventually your body will adapt making it easier to fall asleep.

Sleep medications usually work [over the counter or prescription].
You're not getting enough sleep at all.
Try to go to bed earlier by just a little bit every night, don't just try to go to bed super early, your body isn't used to it.
Good luck.

same here im 12 too.

At your age, you still need 9 to 10 hours of sleep each night. The best thing to do is to stop being busy. About an hour before you want to go to bed, start winding down. Stop whatever it is you're doing and just relax. Take a bath or shower, read something, or just kick back and watch a little TV and then go to bed. It may take several days for your body to adjust to a new routine, but stick with it and you'll be able to get to sleep earlier.

if you're awake early , you will start sleeping early.

about 6.oo ,you can do some exercises..then when you are lying bed,you will feel tired and go to sleep ..
