Two red lines on my stomach above my belly button?!

Question: They've been there for a while, I've had them for a long time and I never really paid much attention to them because I thought they would go away..but no they're still there! What are these mysterious red lines?

They may be stretch marks. Have you put on a bit of weight in that area over a short period of time? If they are stretch marks time will eventually fade them to an almost unnoticeable silvery colour.
