The 'Common Cold'. HELP?!?!
Question: OK, I have a few questions.
1. Can you get a fever from a cold?
2. If you can, what can I do to make my cold go away? It's pretty bad.
3. If you can't, what do I have?
Yesterday I suddenly got a cold. I mean really suddenly! I was ok all day, except I woke up with a headache, around 3p.m. my nose started running and my eyes were watering. I thought it was allergies until I took my temperature and I had 100.5
This morning I woke up, and I feel better, but I had a 102. I actually feel pretty normal but my nose is still running like crazy!

the thing about the cold is, you can't cure it, because each time you get it you get an immunity to that particular rhinovirus strain. each one is different. some of them do come with fevers.
if you treat each symptom, tylenol for the fever and headache, something for sinus, you will be more comfortable. it'll only last seven days if you do all that, but it'll last a week if you don't do anything at all.
drink a lot. that will make you feel better.
go to your doctor this sounds pretty serious. Now. Go Now. Go to ER if you don't have one or something.
yes you get a fever with a cold(most of the time)
there isnt much you can do besides rest and take cold meds . you have let it run its course. so ya that sounds like a cold to me
you can go from fever to cold that's a good symptom probably because a fever is worser than a cold so your doing fine and you don't have to worry just keep on covering your nose okay?
