What can i do if im lightheaded?!

Question: drinking water isnt helping

Answers: drinking water isnt helping

Eat, or lay down

Sit down and rest.

And for Gods Sake if you live anywhere in the USA, stay off the highway!!!

You may be hungry try eating that usually helps or you may want to get tested for diabetes especially if you feel this way after eating especially sweets or salty foods.

Sit down. Cold towel to the forehead. Visit a physician.

Lay down.

Eat something.

Lightheadedness, dizziness, weakness, and fatigued are symptoms/ side effects of several different conditions from low blood sugar, (hypoglycemia), low blood pressure (Hypotension), Vertigo from an ear infection, sinus problems can cause this, different medicines can cause the lightheaded feeling. The only way to be certain what is causing this is to see your Dr. and describe all your symptoms, times they happen, what makes it worse/better, etc. think about these when the lightheadedness happens to help determine what is causing it. (one simple fix that your dr. would tell you is that if you are feeling this way when you get up from sitting or lying is not to get up too fast because it causes a drop in BP and your body needs time to catch up to accurately distribute the blood flow back to where it needs to be, If that helps any) Hope this helps!

Quit dying your hair blonde!!

But seriously are you diabetic or possibly hypo-glycemic?? Have you had lunch?? And what would drinking water have to do with this?? You're light headed not thirsty.
Also you can try sitting and putting your head between your knees, that sometimes works. Are you in a closed space where you may be subjected to some kind of fumes or CO gas? If so leave the area immediately and get fresh air, then call your fire dept. to report a possible gas problem or HAZMAT problem. You most likely don't work in a welding shop where sometimes the smell of brazing rods melting can make you light headed, and I hope you're not sniffing glue.
Failing all of these I would go and see a Dr. or if you feel you're going to pass out a trip to the ER is in order as it could be a sign of something much more serious like a stroke, an anuerysm, or even a thyroid imbalance.
