Anyone in the medical field, ie. nurse ?!

Question: Sorry to ask, I asked a similar question to this, but it was worded wrong etc.
Okay, I plan for when I'm older to go into something medicine [leaning towards a nurse, etc] So I have to choose my grade 11 courses which I will take, and lead me to grade 12 [with the prerequesit of the grade 11 course] The school makes the whole "choosing for your future" thing so frustrating, because if I dont have the right courses for what I need for University I'll be screwed .. [the grade 12 courses] So I was wondering would I be okay with these courses for medical [I talked to some nurse who came into our gym class, and she said I needed physics.. etc]

For gr. 11 ;
Chemistry, Physics, Biology, English, UMath, French, History [manditory], Drama [Manditory].
* All above academic .
[I was told I had to take all three sciences, and a 'health science' course... but with the program I'm in , I have no more credits... Its frustrating (N) ]

THANK YOU SO MUCH !

I'm a nurse and the classes that you needed when I went to college were dependent upon what college you went to. I took serveral other elective courses in high school ( like criminal Justice a whole year too!) and Anatomy and all that other good stuff, but I still think that when you get to college your course will be specific to that of what you choose. Like mine I still had to take a years worth of classes before I was even allowed to apply to the Nursing Program. Right now I'm working on another degree, shooting for FNP! Good luck and keep at it, we need all the nurses we can get!

your down the right path, also another good thing to do is mabye go to a local college and see what they say about you going to school for nursing, they will give you a paper and advise you which classes to take. Just keep on your nursing, it will take a wile, but its all worth it when your makeing 20-80$/hr. :)
