I bent over this morning to pick up my little dog and something happened to my b!

Question: It's such an intense pain in the small V of my lower back. I just couldn't move for a few minutes. That was at 11am this morning and I'm still in pain. What could have happened? Should I put hot or cold on it? A hot bath didn't do much.

You could have a pinched nerve which sometimes is difficult to get rid of.If you feel like your movement is restricted it could be this problem.Sometimes chiropractors can help get you back to normal.Good luck and hopefully your well soon.

you threw out your back (one of your vertebra are pinching a nerve)...it happens to me from time to time. i had to go to a chiropractor to help my back, and they said i have a extra vertebra in my back. if you go to sleep (try to sleep on your back) it will be a little better in the morning (it usually takes 2 days for the pain to go away). i hope this helps!

Put a cold pack on for 20 min. on; 20 min. off. Take 2 Advil or Aleve every 4 hrs. to

You will probably end up needing to go to your MD or ER.
It may be a bulging or herniated disc which is pressing against a nerve. After 48 hrs, try heat. Then decide which feels better: Hot or cold & use that.

Good luck to you
