I'm sick, at what temperature should an adult become concerned?!
Question: I am on all kinds of antibiotics, I just started today. I take my first dose in about 30 min. My fever is 99.2 and I took some Motrin. When should I become concerned about my fever?

102.5*-103*. You may need to go to ER. Keep taking Motrin.
Drink lots of fluids: tea with lemon & honey & water or seltzer if you get tired of water.
You currently have a low fever.

if it climbs any higher than 99.2, anything in the 100s go see a doctor right away
I think its 100 but you should consult a Doc. soon. Take care and avoid cold things...
A fever is your body's way of fighting something off. If it goes up to 102 for more than a couple days, call your doctor. If it goes 103 or higher for more than a day, call your doctor.
98.8 is the normal temp of a human adult.
99.2 you have a high fever but its not too bad.
101 and 100 and 103 and 200 is dangerous!!! 200 is criticle!!
if the symooms worsen stop taking the motrin as says the directions on the box.
You should become concerned about your temperature when
it gets to above 100 degrees because you need some temperature elevation to fight the infection.
Somewhere between 101 & 102. 100 is not that high when you are sick if you are an adult. When the fever reducers stop working to bring the fever down you need to see a Dr. Also drink lots of icy cold drinks to bring the core temp. down in your body, that will help to keep your fever down also.
You should not be taking a fever suppressor. Fever is one of the bodies' defense mechanisms when you get an infection. Bacteria and viruses do not thrive when your temperature is above 100. As long as it doesn't go over about 103, you should try and tolerate it.

You should be concerned if a fever reaches 103 degrees and remains there or climbs despite treatment with tylenol or ibuprofen.
99.2 IS CONSIDERED A VERY LOW GRADE FEVER TO NO FEVER AT ALL.
I DON'T THINK YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. YOU'RE .7 DEGREES AWAY FROM BEING PERFECT. A COOL SHOWER WOULD BRING YOU BACK TO NORMAL.
WHAT ARE YOU ON ANTIBIOTICS FOR? AND WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY "ALL KINDS"??? YOUR ONLY SUPPOSED TO TAKE ONE AT A TIME.
