I think you're referring to the stems...yes you can eat them but it won't do anything. The THC content of the stems is so low it would just be a waste. It won't hurt your body any to do so.

there are lots of weeds that have medicinal purposes and some you can eat. My mother used to pick some one the farm and cook. Just like spinach.
