Hurts when I blink?!

Question: I have a small bump inside my right eyelid. Right at the top.
I don't think it's a stye. Maybe an ingrown eyelash?
But it hurts like hell when i blink.
Anyone know what it could be?

Sounds like a stye

Most bumps on the eyelid are styes. A stye is an inflamed oil gland on the edge of your eyelid, where the lash meets the lid. It appears as a red, swollen bump that looks like a pimple. It is tender, especially to the touch.

A stye is caused by bacteria from the skin that get into the oil glands in the eylids that provide lubrication to the tear film. Styes are similar to common acne pimples that occur elsewhere on the skin. You may have more than one stye at the same time.

Styes usually develop over a few days and may drain and heal on their own. A stye can become a chalazion -- this is when an inflamed oil gland becomes fully blocked. If a chalazion gets large enough, it can cause trouble with your vision.

Stye Treatment - How to get rid of a stye?
Treatment is usually either medical or surgical. Particularly for small ones, medical treatment may be advisable. Oral antibiotics are rarely helpful in most cases since this is an inflammation of the gland, not an infection. However, antibiotic/cortisone drops or ointment can be helpful to keep the bacteria count of the eyelid down and decrease the swelling of the eyelid. The BEST treatment for this is HOT compresses to the eyelid. Wrap a hot washcloth in Saran Wrap to keep the heat in the washcloth and place it over your eyelid as often as you possibly can. The lesion often will "come to a head" and drain out. If this doesn't happen, you should consider surgical drainage by a simple office procedure. Sometimes, the chalazion is so large that medical treatment is not advised and immediate drainage is required. You should be evaluated by your eye care specialist before starting any treatment. Also, recurrent chalazia/styes can be a sign of a very rare eyelid tumor and should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist.

I have no clue, but i would definately see a doctor for this one.

stye=ingrown eyelash
u have a stye
look up how to get rid of it on google

it sounds like a stye .. you should go to the eye doctor just to be sure

you could have gotten something stuck in it, and its just gotten infected. i would suggest washing it out with water or going to your eye doctor.

more than likly a stye put some soothing eye drops in there

It's a stye. Take a rag and soak it in really hot water. Then put this on your eye. The heat will help clear up the stye. You'll have to do this for a few days to get rid of it.

oh no. my friend has that. its cancer. you better seek medical assitance cause if it spreads you could die like he is.

Why don't you think it's a stye? I've had problems with little bumps (sometimes white in color) on the inside of my lids before, I leave them alone and they usually go away overnight.

Try changing up your makeup. Make your your eyeliner isn't oil-based. That can help prevent any further problems.

you probably arent taking enough shits per day. both the size of the shits, and the frequency. most people dont **** enough in general.

it may be something that is not supposed to be there, that is why it hurts you when you blink, so a doctor has to take it out of there.

How do you know it's not a stye? That's what it sounds like, but you should definitely go to a doctor. They will probably be able to prescribe you some eye drops for the pain untill it goes away, because you can't just not blink like someone else suggested.

I know it sounds gross and may not be completely safe, but can you pop it? Maybe with a needle? I had one like that one time and that worked for me.

It hurts when i blink 180 too

Really does sound like a stye, eyelid zit, etc.

Get a washcloth and run it under warm water. Press that to your eye. Makes it feel sooo much better.

If the condition persists longer than a few days to a week, consult your doctor

Good luck!

it is actually possible to a pimple on your eyelash, i have had them and they do hurt. you can try to pop it, it will hurt for a second but then the pain goes away. or you could let it go away. if it is not a pimple, there is a slim chance that it could be an ingrown eyelash, for which you can get a special eyedrop at your pharmacy that reverses the growth of the hair , and it will go away. you may also has an iris infection, which can be cleared up instantly at the eye doctor. call your eye doctor and im sure that a nurse would be more than glad to help you over the phone

it`s either a stye, pink eye or an alien implanted tracking device.

i get those all the time. it most likely is a stye. it can get really serious if you mess with it so dont touch it !
one way to get rid of those is by pressing a warm tea bag over your eye lid. NOT hot. just warm. hold it over the bump for about 10 minutes and it should go away

Sounds like a stye. I think you can find something for them at a pharmacy. I had one once and went to my doctor. Check webmd.com

Stop Blinking and die

See your doctor or even better your eye doctor. He will know what to do.

I have had those before. If it's super small and looks kind of like a zit, you can take a super small pin and pop it. Of course take percautions and wash your hands. It will be a little sore (less than what it was) for the rest of the day and by morning it should be gone. Call an eye doctor if you need to.

sounds like a sty blondey. they sell sty ointment at the pharmacy. It could even be a chalazion which would be a bump on the underside of your eyelid..not on the edge.
Remove eyemake-up and use a cold then a hot compress.

HERPES

it still happens...i think it might be a stye my mother had one and she didn't take care of it when she was about 19 and it's became a big bump on the lid of her eye so i would def get it checked out.

It could be a chalazion if it's in the eye.

dont blink just like that your 6 years old and you take a nap and you wake up and your 25 and your high school sweet heart becomes your wife............oh wait thats a song sorry got caught up in the moment but back to the question i really have no idea whats wrong sorry
