What do i do if i feel lightheaded and have severe headaches?!
Question: I get lightheaded sometimes and get headaches where it feels as if a pole is being jammed through my brain....im 15 and my mom won't believe me....what should i do and is it something serious?

Your mom should bring you to the doctor and if she doesn't go to the school nurse.
sounds like a migraine headache. Have your mom take you to your doctor or let the nurse at your school know. That way you can have someone else help you tell your mom
You know.. it can be something as simple as a migrane. It could be stress headaches. It could be anything in-between. If they occur more than once a week, or once a week for three or more weeks, I'd really try to get my mom to get me to a doctor, and if she won't, I'd go to the school nurse.
You need to get your blood pressure checked. Or you might have diabetes. Call your doctor and have him decide what is wrong.
You may be experiencing migraines.
All you can do is when you are having an attack is keep away from bright lights, rest, stay away from foods that may trigger your headaches, and take ibuprofen or Tylenol to try and relieve it.
And If you can see a doctor if none of these methods mention above work in relieving your pain as he/she can prescribe meds that may work effectively.
If you are about to have a migraine and you are having vision problems that is common with a migraine with aura it can cause your vision to blur, cause you to see zig zags, and even cause you to lose your vision temporary. A migraine with aura usually occurs because a migraine hits but I'm pretty sure it can happen during a headache too.
why wouldn't your mom believe you? do you lie to her a lot? if so, you reap what you sew.
if you are telling the truth, then see your school nurse and enlist her aid in getting your mom to take you to a doctor.
