Why do women shave their pubic hairs?!
Question: its more of a question thats bugging me instead if an interest but i was wondering what your views are and if you have ever shaved, then please let me know why you did it and at what age you started?

personal hygiene is the main reason and i was young

Same sorts of reasons as some men shave theirs: because they like the feeling of it, for hygiene reasons, because their partner is more likely to give them oral if they do.

My wife has a brazilian because it looks nicer, there is no embaressing hair sticking out of her swimsuit and I don't get pubes in my mouth

To avoid ticks and other things you don't want to live in your bush and fashion plays a big role in it too.
Shaven feels so much nicer and cleaner! and my boyfriend prefers it!

Honestly the first reason: because my man asked me to, for sexual reasons.
second: Now I just like it clean, looks, feels better.

for hygiene, & for pleasure.
I shave because it feels cleaner and i'm less self conscious about my bf seeing me down there.. plus it just feels better.

I've always been of tye opinion that going down without finding hair is like drinking non-alcoholic beer. Luckily the fashion seems to be turning back towards 'au naturel'.
Better hygeine is a myth. Medical studies have shown that even before surgery, its better not to shave. The idea that pubic (and underarm) hair equates to poor hygeine is probably to do with the 'dirtiness' of sexuality - and especially of female sexuality. Think about it: how many people shave their head for hygeine reasons?
My guess is that it's a cultural thing. Hairlessness has long been the norm in many Islamic societies. In the US (and its cultural fiefdoms), it's a more recent phenomenon, paralleling the increased prevalence of porn. The advantage to femininine hairlessness in porn is greater clarity during penetration shots.
(Yes - there is a sub-genre of hair porn - but, hell...there's even Clown Porn!)

I shaved umpeet years ago after a kind lady donated some wildlife to me, in an effort to get rid of them, and have continued ever since, because:
1) It feels cleaner
2) I get more oral attention
18 my boyfriend suggested it.
Know i would never go back because it is and feels much cleaner. He likes it too, s*x/oral is better, you dont have to worry about the horrible pubic hairs exposed out your swim suit and look much better in sexy underwear!!
Well I think the reason is same as we men shave beards and moustache daily...Further u get to enjoy hassle free sex. Come on after all the pubic area looks more clean and hygienic.
bit of a strange question, but it's more hygienic especially at that time of the month, it looks a lot nice on men and women instead of having a grossly unpleasing to the eye forest growing there, all that sweat etc ewwwwwwww not thanks. as for how long, well thats my secret
