if you have lice it will itch. and there will be bugs most of the time. but there will ALWAYS be nits, which are lice eggs that they lay on your head and they stick to your hair. they are VERY tiny little white ball looking things and they are stuck to your hair and hard to pull off. and also, just thought i might add that most lice are becoming amune to lice treatments. (like shampoo and stuff.) so if you have it. drench your head with the treatment. and then repeat it a couple days later.
hope i helped!

If you had lice it would itch like crazy.

Dandruff maybe?

if you hae lice they are small little bugs and if you can't see them crawling then you proably have dry scalp. check it out.

if it comes off easy it is not lice. Lice sticks to your hair, and you have to pull it off.

It might be dry scalp..or build up of product in your hair..or danruff.

could be lice,.... could also be dry scalp or dandruff. I think maybe you should go see a dr. Either that or go to a daycare center and ask an employee... they have lice at those places all of the time!

not if they wash out. Get a "nit comb" from the drug store.

Are they moving? If not, it seems like dandruff.

If the "little white things" come out of your hair easily with your fingers, it is NOT lice.

cut all your hair, then you will find the problem

You may have lice. Those little white dots might be lice eggs (called "nits"). They appear as tiny whitish balls cemented to your hairshaft.
There are-over-the-counter lice-killing shampoos available at any drugstore or grocery store. If you follow the product's directions, you'll be free of lice, whether you really have them, or it's a false alarm. If this applies, washing your bedsheets and clothing more often, will prevent future infestations.
