Any time I eat bacon or sausage I have severe pain in my kidneys?!

Question: any ideas as to why this would happen or if it might be something else completely?

you might have a kidney infection.... the best thing i would suggest for you to do isto see your doctor....if tis a kidney infection then......he will give you antibotics!!

Sounds like diabetes. Cut down your sodium intake.

You might be having kidney problems. A little less on the salt and sodium, next time, okay?

It's possible you're getting too much salt from those foods. Kidneys have the job of removing impurities from your blood, but also balancing your electrolyte levels, such as sodium and potassium.

probably something else. its really a question for your dr. trust me ...i have hydronephrosis and onlly 30% kidney function...nothing to fool with .

It's probably the nitrites (or is it nitrates??) that are in cured meats. Check with your doc - you may have something going on in there - kidney stones, an infection, or any number of issues - nothing to fool around with though.

I'd advise you to stop eating it. -_-

lay off the fatty foods. Its a digestive enzyme released that is causing the pain.
