Yeah I get 5 to 6 hours sleep and it is killing me. I'm tired all day and it is hard to function and stay alert. I try to get to bed early but it is hard with my schedule. i was able to handle not getting enough sleep before I hit 30 but now I just can't take it like i used to. I just turned 30yo 8 months ago.

Yeah. You can get sick from it. I got sick from not sleeping once. I just crashed!

Yes it is very important. You see the problem now so add two more hours a night and things will improve.

Yes, it is important. If you do not get enough sleep you could be a danger to yourself and other members of the public.

you actually get used to it after a while. I've been working 3rd shift for over 4 years and only get 5 hours of sleep a day, even the days i'm off. At first it will affect anything you do, but after a while your body gets accustomed and you can perform just as well as someone who sleeps 10 hours.

yes. U re less motivated and attentive when you are tired. sleep essential, 6 hours seems reasonable. if youa re still tired trry taking a short nap in the afternoon.

"Even mild sleep loss may affect health

SAN FRANCISCO, Jun 22, 2002 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Losing as little as one to two hours of sleep each night can leave people drowsy and mess up their hormones, potentially increasing their risk of a variety of diseases down the road, new research has revealed.

"There have been many studies where sleepers have been severely deprived of sleep, but we decided to mimic real life by restricting normal sleep by two hours (each night) for a week," said lead researcher Alexandros N. Vgontzas of the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey. "

so...... yes!

i neeeed sleeping, Each their own way.
Possibley your sleeping pattern is six hrs per day.

It's an individual thing dependent on your genes, I'd guess. Thos. Edison got along on 4 hrs. Me and you need 8 or we feel logy and basically not getting good quality mileage. Think of it as needing a higher octane-rating, more sleep being the POWER-ADDITIVE.

sleep is necessary as much as waking up. But 6 hours sleep is enough. This sleep must be sound
