Question: My dad has a fever and we dont know how to get it down how do we break it.PLEAS HELP.he is shaking and cant talk he has brown citus.

Its hard to say, 1st give him a fever reducing med, after 20 min or so take temp again. If it is higher than 102 then have him try to get into a luke warm bath. NOT COLD, if his fever is too high a shower will put him in shock. Not hot either. just luke warm. Adults can also put ice packs under arms and in grion area. If that doesn't work, think about getting him to an ER. Good Luck
