Question: I've been sick for the past 3 days with flu....and today my hands started to change into a yellowish-orange color..... what can it be?....
I haven't touched anything weird or burned or anything like that...the color just started popping....

this can actually happen from eating a lot of carrots or taking beta carotene. it can also be a sign of jaundice; which could be serious. no point in guessing. call your doctor and tell him/her that you have the flu as well as this other symptom. i hope you're okay.

Usually when your skin turns yellow, that is jaundice and can be a sign of a liver problem. If you haven't been drinking enough fluids, it might cause this.
Have you been eating Cheetos?
You need to go to the doctor if you haven't touched anything that could change your skin color. One thing that causes yellowish/orange skin is liver problems.

Have you been eating a lot of carrots lately?? That can cause that. Are you sure it is Orange and not yellow? Could it be your liver having an issue because of your illness??

It could be jaundice...but if it's only your hands, I'm not sure. Check the whites of your eyes...if they're yellow as well...than it's jaundice and you need to have some liver function tests done.

Serious answer: If your hands are changing color, then it's more than just the standard flu bug. Please go see your doctor.
It could be jaundice, something affecting the liver. If you haven't told the doctor, call quick. If you are eating lots of carrots, carrot juice, carrot soup. or tomato stuff. any concentration of those vegetables in your diet will eventually come to your skin.
I recommend that you call your physician and he/she will likely call you into their office. do it quick.
