Question: but is it possible to have a growth spurt overnight?! and what age do girls stop growing at? because this morning my dad told me that i had grown about 2 inches since xmas, and i know you're taller in the morning, but by how much? thanks

girls stop growing from age 18 to 20. roughly.
not when we first get out period... i would have been mad if i stopped growing when i was 14!!!! im now 5'7, 21, and havent grown since i was about 18.
Girls pretty much reach their peek when they start their period. You can still grow, but it wont be that much.

there are no such thing as overnight growth spurts.
maybe you grew alot since christmas.
growth spurts during puberty can happen really fast. but not overnight.
You won't have a growth spurt overnight that will be noticeable, but it's quite possible to grow 2 inches since Christmas.
My oldest daughter had a growth spurt at 16.5 years. She gained 2.5" in about 6 months.
Now (age 28) she is 5' 10.5".
