Why does this happen to me after getting out of a bubble bath?!

Question: After sitting in a hot bubble bath, I always stand up and shower. While in the shower, I start to have difficulty breathing and get nausea. Then I either pass out or almost pass out.

What causes this?

If the water in the bath tub is very warm and you stand up for the shower, the blood pressure rapidly drops (standing-up dropping pressure, it is called) and this causes this feeling of passing out. You must have lukewarm water in the tub to keep your blood pressure at normal levels, then rise slowly and have a shower at the same temperature.

asthma maybe?

Low blood pressure...

see your doctor... it's safer that way.

Maybe you are dehydrated from sitting in the bath so long. You can sweat and your body cant breath because you are under water.

maybe you are allergic to the bubble bath stuff.

You can't take looking at so much beauty all at once!

could be blood pressure problems.

Call me the next time you want to do this. I'll arrive with a sthethoscope, BP cuff, and some Swedish Oils ;-)

Oh, and a camera....
