they take a butterflie needle, which is much smaller and stick it in the veins on the top of ur hands...
Not really, if you want to have blood tests, they need some sample to work with. There are methods (usually used with pediatric patients) where they need less blood, but some is absolutely necessary.
Prick your finger i guess ...all depends how much they need...
better get used to it because it's gonna happen throughout your life. I just put it out of my mind and don't look at what's going on. Many people take a valium or something like that when having blood drawn.
