Why do I keep coughing in my throat?!

Question: I keep on making a hmmmm sound in my throat and keep trying to force something up. Its kinda wierd actually, and it makes me twitch sometimes. Am I dieing? I drank 2 glasses of water and nothing works...

I used to do that, and I ended up getting my tonsills out. Maybe it's that?

Go to the doctors and get your sinus checked. It sounds like post nasal drip or allergies. You are not going to die from it but you are probably pretty annoying in the morning.
