Question: What's the best working medicine for kids that doesn't need a prescription. Also, what's the fastest working kind. Price doesn't matter. But I need one that works best for flus.

you didnt say what you need it for...cant answer the question without knowing the symptoms...Hmmm...not knowing how old the kid is my best guess would be to start with some Tylenol/Motrin (generics are fine). Then I would get an expectorant like guifenison (Robitussin). You may want to add an antihistamine as well (benedryl, claritin, zyrtec ect.) Try this for a day and if symtoms dont improve then take the kids to the doctor.
The basics are:
fever reducer (tylenol/motrin/advil)
expectorant (robitussin)
antihistamine
These are basics when you have kids.
Children cough medicine just take the child to the doctor would be the smartest thing to do if price doesnt matter
HI MY 7YR OLD JUST GOT OVER THE FLU WELL THE FLU IS A VIRUS AND THERES NO MED THAT REALLY CAN FIX IT BUT ROTATE MOTRIN AND TYLENOL FOR THE FEVER EVERY 6HOURS AND GIVE THE CHILD LOTS AND LOTS OF FLUIDS THERE IS ALSO A BRAND OF CHILDRENS TYLENOL LIQUID THAT FOR THE FLU YOU CAN FIND IT IN THE CHILDRENS MED SECTION AT WALMART THAT HELPS THE SYMPTOMS ALOT AND THEN YOU JUST KINDA BELT DOWN AND WAIT IT OUT HOPE THIS HELPS MY SON WAS BETTER IN ABOUT 3DAYS BUT WAS WELL IN ABOUT 5 OR 6 DAYS HOPE THIS HELPS GOD BLESS
If he he super lethargic, bring him to the hospital. If you are sure it is just achiness from the flu, tylenol works best. remember that tylenol is an analgesic and it will also take down his fever. win, win.
