What are you views on my medical marijuana?!

Question: I have a medical marijuana card. I was given this card because I have a crushed disc in my back, which is pinching my nerve. This causes me a lot of pain all of the time. I was getting shoots in my back but they slowly stopped working as well. I was given about 60 pain killers at a time for two week periods. I am too young for the surgery my doctor thinks I should hold out on it as long as possible. Do you think my use of medical marijuana makes me a druggie loser?

Absolutely not.

Marijuana is not physically addictive, has no proven long term side effects, and is arguably one of the safest pain killers.

As long as you are responsible there is no need to feel guilty. Did you feel like a "druggie loser" when you were taking prescription pain killers? Prescription painkillers are far more damaging than marijuana.

My fiancee is a brilliant orthopedic surgeon who happens to use marijuana to alleviate the pain and nausea associated with crohns disease. No one sensible would consider her a "druggie loser", same holds for you if you are responsible.

Heck! no! u r not using pot to get high, but, for your pain, I wish I had a card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hurt all over!!!!!!!!!!

any medication should be under doctor's advice and supervision

No, I think its fine if it works. I've done research on this and found alot of people who found medical marijuana helped them more then anything. Keep in mind, marijuana is first and foremost a plant/herb. Good luck and I hope it helps.

Not at all. The painkillers that they would give you anyway are possibly morphine based which are highly addictive. You are using because you have pain, you are not using to relieve boredom.
