Yep! Lots of fruits and vegetables and less carbs; for their minerals and natural fibers. Drinking lots of juice or water with your meals is good. This helps with digestion as well as a preventive habit to eat more.and thus gain unhealthy weight. Stay away from junk food. Otherwise, eat everything in moderation. Therefore, once in while; it's okay to splurge and treat yourself to the foods you like.

The other sure method is to eat slowly small portions at a frequent intervals. Figs, prunes and nuts ( esp almonds) are good sources for their minerals esp iron ( energy metabolism and red cell production )and antioxidant and fiber properties. If you have lactose intolerance to milk which might cause the indigestion. You can eat cheese. It's a good source of calcium for your bones and teeth and action potential of your muscles.

Regular exercise evenj ust a 20-30 min of daily walking can do wonders. Pace yourself. Avoid strenuous exercises. Make sure you do stretching exercises first to avoid soreness..Gradually bring yourself to a higher level of exercise tolerance. And always wind down after an exercise.

Finally, try to develop a healthy bowel habit of the morning constitution

try exercising. it will help you digest faster. it doesn't have to be heavy exercise, just walking or something

I have found 3or4 dried prunes ( they are sweet) help, I don't get indigestion but it helps move things along
