I have had my tongue pierced for almost 2 years now, and when i got it done, the only thing that hurt was them clamping the tongue. My belly button hurt worse then my tongue and it happens so quick.... you barley even feel it. and for the first week or two its hard to eat just cus u have to get use to it. what i did was just tear up my food and place it in the side of my mouth and eat it that way.... first the first few days..... but dont eat ice after you get it done or anything really cold like a shake or ice cream, thats what makes your tongue swell up. take advil AND ALWAYS RINSE UR MOUTH OUT WITH LISTERINE.... listerine makes your tongue feel so much better and it keeps it clean!! make sure its the kind with alchol in it. but after that first week or two, eating is so easy. to be honest i feel so funny when i dont have my tongue ring in now... i have to have it in!!! things get so much better after the 6 week healing period as well....

Sick with the ears . Getting your togue pierced is very painful & your togue can swell up and block your airway.
