How long does it take a fingernail to grow back after it is smashed?!

Question: If it is light bleeding between the skin and nail, it took me two months for the blood to completely fall out. If the whole nail is black, it took me four months. Cutting them will hurt A LOT. If half your nail falls off, it took me six months to grow one back. It will grow back ugly.

oops....that hurts !!! it has happened to me. My nail took some time, since you know....nails grow, but not that fast. Be patient...it will grow back, take care.
