I have pain in all of my joints.?!

Question: Sometimes it gets so bad that i start crying. My mom says she has the same thing. It keeps me from sleeping and doing everyday things and now that we're moving I really need to be able to be up and alert and able to move. I'm only 15. Does anyone know what this could be and how to stop it? I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Its not normal and you should not have to put up with it. There are lots of potential causes and lots of possible remedies. It is NOT laziness. Have you tried any anti inflammatory preparations, some are available over the counter from the chemist.

You could be lacking some things like magnesium, but cramps often go with that and too much magnesium can cause headaches (personal experience but I am prescribed mega doses). Best bet is to see your doctor. Just cos your mum says she has the same thing does not mean its the same or that your pain and discomfort is not worse.

At 15 you should not suffer anything like that amount of pain and difficulty moving. If you cant get to the doctor straight off try the anti inflammatory drugs, although fish oil is really good as well.

Be safe, be sage

It's called laziness and the cure for it is a kick up the backside and plenty of work - ok?

Does your mum know what the condition is? Its probably best to go and see your GP. If they can't diagnose anything then maybe its a psychological thing.

I lack of magnesium.
Try increasing this in your diet and see if this makes a difference.
You could need some phsysiotherapy.

No idea sorry but consult a GP. It probably is a genetic condition

You and you Mom should have thorough physical exams
