Theraflu works really well. It tastes horrible but like I said you will feel better after taking it. Also something that has helped me a TON lately and is much cheaper than going to the DR all of the time is Vitamin water. Its yummy too. Take a hot shower and that will help clear your passages.
drink lots of water so that your body can clean out your system. Try to sweat too
Colds are caused by viruses, so I don't think you could take any medicine.
Taking medicine might cover up the symptoms, but it wont completely get rid of it.
Just wait it out.
