I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Sometimes it can be hard to tell whether you have the flu or just a cold. Flu symptoms usually include, body aches, fever, chills, vomiting, diarreah, and coughing. But, a cold can produce some of the same symptoms. The best thing I can tell you to do is to continue taking the cold medicine. I've also heard that TheraFlu works well too. Make sure to drink plenty of fluids to keep your body hydrated. And don't go outside in the cold if you don't have to. Take care of yourself and get better soon.

Stop criticizing your dad, stop whining, and learn to spell.

i think its the flu but ask ur doc to be sure

it doesnt matter. they both have the same symptons. try to use mucinex and vicks and if that doesnt help then go to the hostpital.

trust me, i was coughing all night so my dad said "F this" and we went ad i got better.

It sounds like the flu that's going around. Drink plenty of fluids and try Mucinex. Good Luck!

what does it matter- since there's no treatment for either? Dont bother with the doctor. Drink fluids and rest and ask your dad to smoke outside.

A cold causes a stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, cough, mild fever and tiredness, lasting two to four days.

Whereas...

Flu is more severe with a high fever (usually 39oC (102 F) or above), chills, headache, intense muscle pains, exhaustion, loss of appetite, cough and sometimes a blocked nose and sore throat. It may last a week or more, and possible complications include pneumonia.

Most colds don't last long and need no specific treatment other than painkillers and simple measures such as decongestant rubs or vaporizers. Antibiotics are of no benefit. Zinc supplements as well as Vitamin C may help to settle a cold more quickly.

While people with the flu can be given similar treatments as the cold treatments listed above, with lots of rest, medicine to bring down any fever and plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration. Lowering the temperature in the room can also be helpful when someone has a fever.

Get well soon!

You should ask your dad to smoke outside!Second-hand smoke contains over 4000 chemicals and is a mix of mainstream smoke exhaled by smokers and side stream smoke emitted from the tips of burning cigarettes!

Ensure you are drinking plenty of pure filtered water to flush the germs out of your body .......... and it will keep you hydrated. Also avoid sugar and caffeine beverages like coffee, tea and soft drinks, as these will only serve to dehydrate you and rob your body of essential B & C vitamins.

Nettle tea bought in the loose organic form from the health food store and brewed for 20 minutes, will help to heal and soothe a sore throat if
you have one ...the taste of nettle tea is quite bland so perhaps spice it up with some honey or lemon juice.

Drink hot tea with lemon and honey

Get lots of rest and feel better ????????
